The Office of Press Registrar issues NOC for titles of publications, news agencies, and pining press from all over the country. Under PNNBR Rules 2009, it is mandatory to seek NOC from the Press Registrar for title (Fresh/Transfer) of a publication, news agency & printing press, or other station for a declared title
NOC CATEGORIES:
There are three main categories for issuance of NOCs i.e. publication, news agency, and printing press. In each of these three categories, different types of NOCs are issued. A brief detail about different Types of NOCs is given below:
- NOC for Publication (newspaper / periodical)
- NOC for News Agency
- NOC for Printing Press
NOC TYPES:
Once a title gets authenticated declaration from the concerned Deputy Commissioner office, and is registered with the Press Registrar Office, the publisher may apply for change of ownership, publisher-ship, or other station of the same title.
