Q1. What are the minimum requirements for publishing a newspaper/magazine?

Ans. A person should have Master degree or equivalent. 

Q2. How do I know whether a title is available or not?

Ans. While applying online you can check the availability of title.

Q3. How much is NOC and Registration Fee?

Ans. Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi station will be considered as metropolitan and various fee Charges are Rs.5000/- for NOC and Rs.10,000/- for fresh/renewal of registration of Newspaper/periodical and news agency and the rest of the country will be considered local and charged fee Rs.1000/-

Q4. Is there any minimum balance requirements in my bank account for Registration?

Ans. Minimum balance should be Rs.500,000/- (Five Lac) only.

Q5. How many titles, stations and language an applicant can have?  

Ans.     An applicant can have a maximum of three titles, three stations and three languages.

Q6. What is the validity of registration certificate?

Ans. Validity of registration certificate is 5 years.

Q7. When to apply for renewal of Registration Certificate?

Ans. You can apply after the expiry of your registration certificate.
