NOC Categories

The Office of the Press Registrar issues NOC for titles of publications, news agencies, and pining press from all over the country. Under PNNBR Rules 2009, NOC of Press Registrar is mandatory to seek a title (Fresh/ Transfer), or other station for a declared title or to make alterations in already declared title in areas including language, periodicity, and printer. 

 

NOC CATEGORIES:

There are three main categories of NOC i.e. publication, news agency, and printing press. In each of these three categories, different types of NOC are issued. A brief detail about different Types of NOC is given below;

  1. NOC for Publication
  2. NOC for News Agency
  3. NOC for Printing Press

 

NOC TYPES:

Once a title gets authenticated declaration from the concerned Deputy Commissioner office, and is registered with the Press Registrar Office, the publisher may apply for changes in different areas including language, periodicity, printing press, ownership, publisher-ship, or other station of the same title.

  1. NOC for Fresh Title of Publication
  2. NOC for Change of Printing Press of Publication
  3. NOC for Change of Language of Publication
  4. NOC for Change of Periodicity of Publication
  5. NOC for Other Station of Publication
  6. NOC for Transfer of Ownership of Publication
  7. NOC for Change of Publisher-ship of Publication

 

FOR TITLE OF NEWS AGENCY:

  1. NOC for Fresh Title of News Agency
  2. NOC for Change of Language of News Agency
  3. NOC for Transfer of Ownership of News Agency

 

FOR TITLE OF PRINTING PRESS:

  1. NOC for Fresh Title of Printing Press
  2. NOC for Other Station of Title of Printing Press
  3. NOC for Transfer of Ownership/ Keepership of Title of Printing Press
